Savory Sausage

 


This is my favorite low carb breakfast when I'm craving something savory.  I like to make everything in the package at once,  so this is the large family recipe, or plenty of leftovers for easy reheat breakfasts. 

Makes 16 Servings (5oz meat per serving)


1 - 5lb pkg Premio Pork Sausage

1 Sweet Pepper, chopped

2 Tbsp Dried Diced Onions

1 Tsp Fennel Seed 

1/2 Tbsp Dried Sage

Dash of Salt & Pepper

Cook sausage. Add peppers, onions and seasoning. Sautee for at least 5 minutes,  or cover and remove from heat for 10min.

One serving,  or 1/16th portion is 3g Net Carbs

There are plenty of things you can add to this to bulk it up for the family, like hashbrowns, apples, rice, caulirice, spinach, etc. Use what you got! If you want to add hashbrowns, we use the dried boxes where you simply add booking hot water and let soak for 10min. Then stir into the cooked sausage. In the photo above,  we used 3 boxes of hashbrowns.
