August 15th is the feast of the Assumption of Mary into heaven. Oh, what hope it brings to us about the final resurrection of the body of we do the will of God.
We've always liked the simple tradition of making these parfaits of blue gelatin and whipped cream layered to look like the heavens with clouds. Simple, Liturgical Living. Give it a try!
Make blue gelatin
Layer in clear jar or glass
with Rediwhip or any whipped cream
Done! They'll be impressed.
